Details

Given that there were only 948 Slantnose 930 Turbo’s ever produced, it’s amazing I’ve shot two of them. This example looks glorious in White with White Fuchs.

In preparation for the auction, I spent a few days with this car. Multiple photoshoots, taking it for an oil change and fixing a few small repairs on the seats over at a local Porsche shop.

The car was excellent, the acceleration is intoxicating, it handles beautifully and you can’t beat having the top down in 70-degree Austin weather. The car ended up fetching $36,000 more than the owner purchased it for, a big success! The new owner should be pleased, it was a steal for one of the best looking cars I’ve seen in a long while.

Meta

This Porsche photoshoot took place on February 15, 2025 in Lakeway, TX. Eventually, this Porsche was listed on Bring a Trailer and was sold for $176,000. Gear used was a Sony ILCE-7M3 camera and FE 135mm F1.8 GM, FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II, FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II & FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM II lenses.
